Wishing to describe Maria Grazia Beltrami in one word, that word is "reader."
She reads all along, she reads always and everywhere, she reads even
when she does the second things she like most in the world, namely
cooking.
Having studied chemistry, her literary education is anything
but academic and the books that for her are classics are the ones that
give her more pleasure in reading instead of those that the academic
environment thinks that they are, with sometimes hilarious results.
To
afford all the books that she reads, unfortunately she have to work,
but because the apple does not fall far from the tree, she is editor
and translator.
Born in Cremona, for some years she is living in
Berlin.
She publishes her reviews on her personal blog “La biblioteca di Ombraluce”: http://bibiliotecadiombraluce.blogspot.it/
