Edmondo De Amicis

Edmondo De Amicis, writer and journalist, was born in Oneglia in 1846 and died in Bordighera in 1908. He is famous above all for writing the book “Cuore” (“Heart”, Treves, 1886), and among his numerous works we find “Primo Maggio” (“First of May”, Garzanti, 1980) and “On the ocean” (Treves, 1889).
