Fiona Sampson is an English poet whose poems have been translated into thirty-eight languages. She has received numerous awards in the USA, India and Europe. She has published twenty-seven books of poetry and received an MBE for Literature. She is also a journalistic critic, librettist and translator, and was editor of “Poetry Review” from 2005 to 2012. Her biography of Mary Shelley “In Search of Mary Shelley: The Girl Who Wrote Frankenstein” was shortlisted for the Biographers' Club Slightly Foxed Prize.
