Stefano Testa was born in Rome in 1949. He has always lived near Porretta Terme. He had many jobs: editor in the historical RAI program “Gli eroi di cartone” (“Cardboard Heroes”), librarian, press officer at a spa, musician. Currently he is managing a movie theatre. His 1977 album, “ Una vita, una balena bianca e altre cose”, (“A life, a white whale and other things”), is considered a little masterpiece of Italian progressive rock. His most recent album, “Il silenzio del mondo” (“The silence of the world”), is from 2012. A long suite is coming soon, “Andrea il Traditore” (“Andrea the Traitor”).
