Lise Bourbeau – Heal Your Wounds and Find Your True Self

Heal your wounds and find your true self by Lise Bourbeau shows how all our mental, physical, and emotional  issues come from wounds that weusually receive during childhood and are mainly five:

Rejection, abandonment, injustice, betrayal, and humiliation.
These wounds, until transmuted and healed, condition our life and make us wear specific masks that we developed in order not to see or feel these wounds and are activated every time we feel – usually unconsciously – threatened and exposed to a specific wound:

REJECTION = FUGITIVE MASK

ABANDONMENT = DEPENDENT MASK

HUMILIATION = MASOCHIST MASK

BETRAYAL = CONTROLLER MASK

INJUSTICE = RIGID MASK

Every time we are in a situation that can, unconsciously, re-activate our wound, we put on the related mask to defend ourselves, unaware that this mask actually keeps us in fear and, obviously, doesn’t allow us to be true to ourselves and others. For instance, every time we feel exposed to rejection, we put on the fugitive mask.
The profiles of each wound/mask are very interesting and include various information such as the behavior, diet, words we use, and so on, according to the wound/mask that’s active.
Lise Bourbeau came to the conclusions of the book after evaluating thousands of cases and noticing that people suffering from the same wounds showed the same characteristics in their body, words use, behavior, health issues, and mental patterns.
Forgiveness – that always begins with forgiving ourselves – is the key to heal, and this amazing book explains in a clear, practical, and detailed way the journey to healing.
A book you can’t miss!
