Alessandro Perissinotto – Sowing the Wind (Semina il vento)

Even in Vercelli Wolves Kill

A love-and-death story between an Italian teacher from the Piedmont region and a young Iranian-born French woman. After their move from Paris to the Vercelli province, they will both be crushed, in spite of themselves, and hopelessly lost by a whirlwind of intolerance and fanaticism. A credible and sad depiction of the progressive outburst of the worst human instincts, which are born in the silence of reason only to creep and irresistibly prevail over the most sensitive natures.
