The couple, without clichés
The prosaic nature of love is the sum of this story. The birth of a couple is at the heart of the narration though the epilogue is not necessarily a happy one. One of the most abused themes of literature gets rid of all romanticism: only facts are revealed with a concise style, which concedes nothing to the morbid. They are accompanied by a handful of thoughts, which taste more of an immediate impression than of a reflection.
A disenchanted look on love affairs. An unusual and fascinating book.
