A different King
In four short novels, King demonstrates all his talent as a narrator: four different, skilled essays among which stands out A bright boy, a small masterpiece of tension and psychological analysis. It tells about the meeting and the relationship between an American middle class boy and a Nazi criminal. The surprising yet credible evolution of the characters and their relationship is a fierce critique of American society. Disturbing and glorious.
