Wilkie Collins – The Woman in White

The woman in white is a spectacular novel and probably the very first detective novel in the history of literature. It was recently brought back on the screen by the BBC, with an adaptation that will please the #metoo movement supporters. There are multiple narrators and so we get to know the story from different point of views, the author wants us to feel as if we’re listening to witnesses at a process. There is a mysterious woman dressed in white wandering alone in the streets of London, and her story – which we investigate together with the narrators – is just incredible.

A masterpiece.
